How to use Sheetbend's topic editor
You can edit existing topics and modify the tags saved with each topic using Sheetbend's topic editor.
Prerequisites
Before you start, make sure you
- have one or more topics that you have either imported or added by hand.
- are on the Compose tab or the Topics tab.
Steps
- Open the topic editor:
- From the Compose tab: click the topic title. The editor opens in edit mode.
- From the Topics tab: click the topic in the left pane, then click Edit.
- Edit the text in the content field.
- Use the default editor to apply formatting with a familiar set of graphical buttons.
- Click the Source link to edit inraw Markdown. (See Markdown syntax for available formatting.)
- Edit or add tags (separate each tag by a comma).
- Click Save to save your changes to the existing topic. Click Save as new, the original will be unchanged and a new version of the topic is created as well.
Results
You have now successfully edited a topic. Any changes you make are saved with the topic.
- If you are using the free version, your changes are saved in browser storage.
- If you have a paid subscription, your changes are written to disk in your connected folder.
